A model that works

Before working with ArkusNexus, GPG had engaged with a previous software development partner that hadn’t been able to keep up with constantly growing business needs and was in part holding back the company’s new projects.

At the time, their core platform was outdated, cumbersome, incapable of integrating with client systems and lacked newer functionalities that were being constantly requested by the promotions team. In addition, they were falling behind and were not able to capitalize on newer technologies available in the promotions marketplace.

When they first approached us, they needed a team that had the technical capabilities to build a scalable platform and at the same time could understand high-level requirements and iterate quickly to meet project deadlines.

Under the leadership of GPG’s senior management team, we quickly began a re-factor of the existing core platform, along with taking ownership of an existing customer service application project. Working in two-week sprints under Agile development methodology and conducting daily stand-ups during regular business hours, along with the right combination of skills and seniority from the ArkusNexus team, proved to be an integral part of the project’s success.

Currently, we’re on our third year of engagement and have successfully deployed newer versions of their core processing platforms, CS application and multiple promotion projects for GPG’s clients. Since working together; GPG has been able to sustain its growth and fulfill promotion projects with multiple new clients while at the same time growing its relationships with existing accounts.
