iOS 14.3 has been released. This iOS is packed with new iOS14 features, and iOS 14 as a whole was one of the most impactful updates to the smartphone yet. Has it fixed the problems that have been reported so far?
The update is available for all devices compatible with iOS 13. The iPhone 6s and newer will work just fine with the new software. For everyone testing the beta version, you must unenroll your software before 14.3 will successfully show up on your phone.
With iOS 14.3, you will be able to experience the new Apple Fitness + platform. You will be able to experience studio-style workouts which are available on all devices powered by Apple. Part of the experience includes being able to browse specialized apple workouts, trainers and recommendations based on the Health app.
There are video workouts added each week with a dozen varying workout types. Also, enjoy the new Fitness+ playlists curated by the trainers themselves.
If you are lucky enough to have the new iPhone 12 Pro or the iPhone 12 Pro Max, you will be able to capture Apple Pro-RAW photos. These can be edited in the photos app.
For the rest of us, you will at least have the ability to record video at 25 fps. There was an exception made for those with the iPhone 6s all the way up to the iPhone X, and you will now be able to mirror the front facing camera with live photos. These are nice touches for the photos app especially for those that aren’t upgrade to the newest hardware.
Arguably the most important mobile app in Apple’s entire interface will be receiving a big overhaul as well.
You will now have the ability to indicate new considerations on the Health app. These considerations include indicating a new pregnancy, current lactation scheduling, or even contraceptive use using the “Cycle Tracking" app.
Finally, let’s touch on the Weather app, which isn’t the most obviously used app on the iPhone.
On Weather you will now be able to view and analyze air quality data in China’s mainland, which previously was not available. While air quality data is available in the U.S., U.K., Mexico, and other key geographies, recommendations based on that data are a new addition to the app. These will be provided at certain air quality levels for your use.
These data are updated based on the national scales for key countries.
